DRI is not all the same: the product of ENERGIRON Direct Reduction plants is the reference for what concerns DRI quality. Metallization can be guaranteed up to 96% and Carbon content can be easily and quickly adjusted as required by the downstream processes.
The resulting higher internal energy of the ENERGIRON DRI optimizes the steelmaking operations and decreases the overall OPEX. DRI can be produced as Cold DRI, Hot DRI and HBI (Hot Briquetted Iron), with any Carbon content in the range 1.5-4.5%.
